Happy Halloween!
What a beautiful Halloween evening! It was a little chilly…but all around it felt fantastic! We took Annelise trick-or-treating for her first Halloween and had a great time. Obviously she can’t eat any candy…so we just walked around the neighborhood with all of her baby friends. Here are some pictures of her flower costume.

It feels good to be back!
Today is my first day back from maternity leave! Unfortunately, I’ve neglected this blog while I was away…so I’ll post some pics to catch you up. Annelise Katherine was born on August 4th, weighing 7 lbs 5 ounces. Here are some of her newborn pictures taken at 2 weeks old.

I got the cutest surprise from a viewer today. Check out this candy bouquet from the fine ladies at Sugar Shack Candy Bouquet (www.candybouquet.com) in John’s Creek.
It’s got little chocolate cigars, pink gum cigars, lolly pops, a pink teddy bear, and tons of candy/chocolate. Definitely a nice alternative to flowers!
Hands Off
For those of you who have been pregnant, you know how strange it is when a total stranger comes up to you and starts rubbing your belly. I don’t mind when family or friends go in for a little rub…but it’s different when it’s somebody you don’t know.
The other day during BMA, we had former SNL’er Rob Schneider on the show. I was in the middle of doing weather, and suddenly Rob comes running up and rubs my belly on live TV.
I had no idea he was going to do that…in fact…I hadn’t even met him yet! Of course, I laughed it off (after all, it IS Rob Schneider). I did tell him that he’s not allowed to rub a pregnant woman’s belly without asking first. I was only half kidding. tee hee hee
Now Baby Valdez can say Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo rubbed her while she was in the womb…and who else can say that?

33 Weeks!
It’s been another week, and I finally feel like I can see the finish line in the distance. Although I’m feeling more tired and uncomfortable I’m still feeling well (considering).

Soon there will be lots of babies in my circle! My two good friends are going to have a baby in the next 5 days!!! Jen (on the left) was due on Monday (June 20th) and should have her baby any day now…and Angie (on the right) is going to have her baby this Monday! Jen is having a girl, Angie is having a little boy. Then, just 6 weeks behind them will be little Baby Valdez!
